With the poem, Roemer offers this suggestion:
Turn this simple seasonal poem into a lively action rhyme! As children act out each line, they build language and coordination skills while exploring geometric shapes— triangles, crescents, rectangles, and circles. Who knew "pumpkin math" could be so fun!
